Pamela Bruce

Pamela Gail Nelson Bruce, 50, unexpectedly passed away December 21, 2016. A gathering will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 27 with a memorial service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 S., Abilene, Texas.

Pamie was born in Oklahoma City, OK to parents Glenn and Cynthia Nelson on November 22, 1966. She attended Western Heights High School in Oklahoma City. She was a hard worker and was a successful owner of a house cleaning company.

She was married to Phillip Bruce for 20 years and they had one son, Nelson Bryan Bruce.

She was an outstanding host to her family and friends. Her greatest attribute was making people happy. Her kind heart and giving soul will always be the thing everyone will always remember her by. She always had a smile, never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip Bruce; her son she adored, Nelson Bruce; her mother, Cynthia Nelson Bright; her brother, Glenn Dale Nelson wife Delene; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pamela was preceded in death by her father, Glenn V. Nelson; and her sister, Nicki Nelson Harkleroad.
