It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Parker Wayne Daniel, who left this world far too soon at the young age of 20. Parker was born on November 21, 2002 in Odessa, Texas and passed away on April 25, 2023, going to be with his Heavenly Father. A memorial service will be 2:00 PM on Friday, May 5, 2023 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene, Texas.
Parker was a beloved son, brother, cousin, nephew, friend, and co-worker. He is survived by his loving parents, Tim and Tosha Daniel; his brother, Braden Daniel; his uncles, Shane Hubanks, and Chris Daniel and wife Edith; his cousins, Mateo Daniel, and Santiago Daniel; his special friends, Bryson, TJ, Conner, and Jose; his boss, David Brumfield; his beloved co-workers; numerous cousins; and many many friends.
Parker was preceded in death by his uncle, Russell Hubanks; and cousin, Adam Hubanks.
Parker was a kind, gentle soul who always had a smile on his face and a positive outlook on life. He had a passion for basketball, shoes, plants, and cars, especially low riders. He attended grade school in Odessa before moving to Abilene, graduating from Abilene High School in 2022, where he was a member of the National Honor Society. He received the Community Foundation of Abilene Scholarship, which he was very proud of.
Parker had a green thumb and was known for his gourmet sandwich-making skills. He worked at Jimmy John's in Abilene, Texas, where he was loved and respected by his colleagues and customers alike. Parker was the nicest, most polite person you could ever meet, and all children loved him. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Parker will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His infectious smile, warm personality, and kind heart will never be forgotten. We take solace in the fact that Parker is now in the loving arms of Jesus, reunited with his loved ones who have passed before him. Rest in peace, dear Parker, and may your memory be a blessing to us all.
