Patricia Edmondson

Patricia Lou Edmondson, 62, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, died Monday, June 22, 2009 in Abilene. A private family memorial graveside service will be held at Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South.

Ms. Edmondson was born on October 1, 1946 in Abilene where she graduated from Abilene High School in 1965 and has lived most of her life. She enjoyed reading, talking with friends and was known for her great sense of humor. She was a member of the Woodlawn Church of Christ.

Survivors include her son, Derwin Eugene Edmondson and wife Ellen of Georgetown; daughter, Cynthia Ann Moore and husband Burt of Beaumont; brother, Derwin Bridges and wife Ginny of Clarsville, Tennessee; sister, Judy Heaton of Bedford; grandchildren, Morgan Edmondson, Jordan Pearson, Lauren Smith, Alison Smith and Jewel Franklin; one great grandchild, Jeffery Pearson; and two nieces, Tracy West and Christina Curry.
