Patrick Miller

Patrick Lee Miller, 59, died Thursday, October 7, 2010 in Abilene after fighting cancer for the past year. His funeral service will be held at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 HWY 277 South at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 13, with burial following in Elmwood Memorial Park. Patrick was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Abilene.

Patrick was born in Maryville, MO on May 23, 1951. He graduated from Maryville High School in 1970 and and served in the U.S. Airforce from 1971 1975. Following his discharge he stayed in Abilene where he was stationed at that time. He worked at various jobs including Abilene Christian University and Nationwide Products where he was employed at the time of his death.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lupe Ramon Miller the love of his life and his father, Wilson Miller.

Survivors include his mother Elizabeth Betty Jo Lewis of Platte City, MO brothers, Dan Miller of Olathe, KS and Robert Lewis of Shawnee, KS sisters, Colleen Davis of Maryville, MO and Maureen Wilding of Kansas City, MO and neices and nephews.
