Patsy Martin

Patsy Martin, 78, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2010 in Abilene. Her funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South with interment to follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Anson.
Patsy was born March, 28, 1932 in Colman County, TX to William and Nettie Keeney. She graduated from Colman High School. She met and married J.L. Martin in 1952 and they traveled and lived throughout the world as he served our country in the United States Air Force. The family relocated to Anson, TX in 1973 and she began working for US Brass in 1975 and continued her career there for 25 years until her retirement in 2000.
She enjoyed attending Broadview Baptist Church, spending time crafting, crocheting and cooking for her family. Her grandchildren were her life and she was very involved in their lives. She will be missed her family and all those who experienced her love.
Patsy is survived by her three children, Deborah Garcia of Brownwood, Kyle Martin of Clyde, Corry Martin and wife Melissa of Goldthwaite seven grandchildren, Michael Garcia, Jennifer Garcia, Katie Landeros, Brittany Martin, Samantha Landeros, Randy Martin, Bobby Landeros two sisters, Billie Moore of Lubbock, Betty Alford of Abilene one brother, Donald Ray Keeney of Colman and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Randy Martin, her parents, one sister, and one brother.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to Meek Blood Center, 1150 North 18th Street
