Pearlie Henry

Ann Henry, 82, of Abilene, Texas was called to her eternal resting place on May 16, 2017. Visitation for friends and family will be Friday, May 19, 2017 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 US HWY 277 South. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at North Park Baptist Church, 1525 Anson Ave. Interment will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park.

She was born in Abilene on February 8, 1935 to George Dewey Davidson and Mamie Odessa Davidson. She married the love of her life, Lewis Burton Henry on September 2, 1950. They shared 67 wonderful and precious years together.

Ann was devoted to Christ and was very active with her church community. She also worked for AISD for 36 years as a supervisor. She retired and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Ann also loved attending family gatherings. Another one of her hobbies was crocheting.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, George and Mamie Davidson.

She is survived by her husband, Lewis Burton Henry; daughter, Marsha Tyler; son, Gary Henry and wife Kathy; four grandchildren, Aleasha, Brandon, Kevin, Bridget; and 10 great-grandchildren.
