Peggy Bledsoe

Peggy Geraldine (Tully) Bledsoe, beloved mother, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, August 5, 2016 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park.

Peggy was born on May 2, 1931 in Eastland, Texas to William R. and Alice G. Tully. On July 10, 1954, she married Robert Quinn Bledsoe. She was preceded in death by her parents and only brother, and by her husband. She was a homemaker and member of First Christian Church in Abilene from 1972 to 1995.

She is survived by her children Alice Ann (Bill) Pierpont, Tully Bledsoe, Amy (Clayton) Crowther, and Quinn (Gerta) Bledsoe; and her grandchildren Blair, Drew, Ryan, Sarah, Matthew, Allison, Emma, Tully, and Finn. She loved and was loved by these, and many other family members and friends.
