Robert Beebe

TSGT Robert Bob F. Beebe U.S. Air Force retired, 71, died Tuesday, January 4, 2011 in Abilene. His graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 10th at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 7457 West Lake Road in Abilene. Visitation is from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Sunday at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South.

Bob was born on February 28, 1939 in Flint, Michigan. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force at a young age where he served several tours in Vietnam. Bob retired from the Air Force in 1977 while stationed at Dyess Air Force Base and remained in the Abilene area where he has been active in the VFW, DAV and VVA. After retirement he enjoyed being a hands on Dad and owning a ranch where he raised Appaloosa Horses. Bob was an excellent cook.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Linda Lin Beebe of Abilene two sons, Robert F. Beebe Jr. and Scott Beebe both of Abilene 6 grandchildren including, Jayde Alexis ChanceBeebe and one sister, Donna Berry of Michigan.
