Robert “Bobby" Biera, 53 passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in Abilene, Texas. A visitation will be 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Friday, February 5, 2021 at Elmwood Funeral Home,5750 Hwy 277 South. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 6, 2021 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service in the Merkel Cemetery.
Bobby was born July 18, 1967 in Hamlin, Texas to Manuel and Mary Biera. He grew up in Merkel, Texas and graduated from Cooper High School. Bobby enjoyed golfing, hunting, barbeques, taking pictures, and visiting with friends and family. He was always happy and ready to have a good time. He loved The Texas Longhorns, Nascar and Bud Light but above all he loved his family, with his mom being his pride and joy. Bobby was very loved and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his father, Manuel Biera Sr.; his brother, Manuel Biera Jr; his brother-in-law Charles “Chuck” Mayo; and his niece, Sarah Biera.
Bobby is survived by his mother, Mary Biera; his siblings, Patsy Adams (Joe), Ricky Biera, Chris Biera, David Biera (Martha), Amanda Mayo, Adam Biera (Abel Silva), Lisa Biera, and Krystal Balvantin; his nieces and nephews, Brandon Adams, Patricia Biera, Kayla Mayo, Anthony Biera, Monica Rediker, Molly Biera, Kenzie Mayo, Amy Biera, Maranda Mayo, Rebecca Biera, Khloe Balvantin, Matt Balvantin, and Rue Balvantin, Haleigh Biera; great nephew, Anthony Biera Jr.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
