Robert Campbell Sr.

Robert E. Campbell, Sr., born July 13, 1938 in Winters, Texas passed away August 12, 2009 in Houston, Texas at the age of 71.

He was a retired college professor and CPAReal Estate Broker and lived in many areas of Texas and Colorado. He was a member of the Texas National Guard. He loved to hunt and travel.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Vernon and Nadine Campbell.

Bob is survived by one sister, Sally Frascone of Bedford, Texas; one daughter, April and husband Kelly Gilbert of Llano; one son, Robert, Jr. and wife Kara Campbell, one nephew, Christopher Frascone; and three grandchildren, Nicole Walts, Trey Campbell, and Corbyn Gilbert.

Graveside service will be held at Elmwood Funeral Home Memorial Park, 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene, Texas Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
