Robert Hunt

Robert Francis Hunt, 67, of Eula passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at a local hospital.

Visitation for family and friends will be 6:00 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy. 277 South. Funeral service, under the direction of Elmwood Funeral Home will be at 3:00 p.m. at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 with Rev. Ron Kelley officiating; interment will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park with military honors.

Robert was born on February 13, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA to Edwin W. and May Hunt. He married Toshie K. Kiyuna in Okinawa, Japan on January 4, 1965. He served for 2 years in the United States Navy and 20 years in the United States Air Force as a tech sergeant; he retired in 1981. Robert was an automotive mechanic, he enjoyed farming wheat and hay in Eula, and he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Toshie Hunt; daughter, MaryAnn Magovern; and granddaughter, Alyssa Magovern all of Eula.

He was preceded in death by his son-in-law William Scott Magovern in 2002.
