Roland Castanon

Roland Rene Castanon, 54, of Abilene passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 in Abilene.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 10 AM at St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at 6 PM, Wednesday, September 25 at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, a rosary will follow at 7 PM.

Roland was born on November 12, 1964 in Abilene, TX., to the late Rudy G. Castanon and Rosie R. Rubio Castanon. He was known to be a very loving, caring, generous husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Roland worked for the Abilene State Supported Living Center for over 27 years until his retirement. He enjoyed laughing, joking and cooking for his friends and family. Roland was a member of St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church and a past member of the Lions Club.

Roland is survived by his wife, Cindy McAdams Castanon; children, Kirstin Price and husband Terry, Tresley Rodriguez and husband Mike; grandchildren, McKayla Orozco, Bransen Price, Nash Price, Kirsley Caffey, Stetson Rodriguez, Lakelynn Rodriguez; siblings, Rose Gayton, Rudy Castanon Jr., Rebecca Castanon, Rick Castanon; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
