Romadelle Wilson

Romadelle Wilson, 87, passed away February 28, 2013, in Abilene. Graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 4, 2013, in the Bird Bath gardens at Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 Hwy 277 South. Visitation will be from 12:00 1:30 before service time at Elmwood Funeral Home.

Romadelle was born on January 4, 1926, in Burkett, Texas to parents RT and Elizabeth Ramsey Wilson. Her family moved to Abilene in 1943, where she graduated from Abilene High School that same year. She later attended Hardin Simmons University, in which she obtained a legal secretary degree. She met and married Mack Wilson they owned and operated Wilson Printing Company until his passing in 1994. Romadelle was a member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary Club for over 50 years, where she held several chairs over the years. She enjoyed being outdoors, camping, and fishing with her family. She will be missed by many.

Survivors include her son Dean Wilson and wife Mary of Abilene her grandchildren, Jessica Baker and husband Michael of Lewisville, Lynnette Kile and husband Drew of Ft. Worth, Brandi Wilson and Josh Deaton of Merkel, Scotty Allen and wife Amy of Abilene, Jessica Tollie and husband Jason of Abilene, Hollie McCutchen and husband Calvin of Ballinger, Maegen Love and husband Joey of Beaufort SC and 11 greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Mack her parents and one son, James Lynn Wilson.
