Ronald Johnson

Ronald L. Johnson, 75 of Abilene, TX passed away on September 15, 2015.

Memorial services will be held in the Chapel at Elmwood Funeral Home in Abilene, TX at 10 a.m. on September 20, 2015. A private burial will be held in Potosi, TX., he will be buried next to his wife Vickie Jo.

Ron was born in Altus, OK on August 17, 1940 to the late George and Hazel Johnson. He lived most of his adult life in Corpus Christi, TX, Owensboro, KY and Abilene, TX. He had a gift for building things and spent many years in the fabrication business. He was also one of the first fabricators trained to design plans on a computer. Ron is preceded by his loving wife, Vickie Johnson. He was baptized as a Christian at age 6 and always referred to his savior as baby Jesus. At last after many years of illness and pain he is now united w/his savior.

Ron is survived by sons; George of Owensboro, KY, Ronald Jr. of Abilene, TX, Ryder of New Braunfels, TX, daughter; Gina Williams along with husband Ernie of Owensboro, KY, sister; Georgia Shuford and husband Mickey of Corpus Christi, TX, many grand and great grandchildren and many other loved ones.
