Ronald Eugene White, 78, of Boerne, Texas, passed away on April 13, 2024. Ron was born in Big Spring, Texas, to Elmo and Juanita White. A visitation will be 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Elmwood Funeral Home 5750 Hwy 277 South. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM on Friday, April 19, 2024, in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Hwy 277 South. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Memorial Park.
He grew up in Abilene, Texas, where he attended and graduated from Wylie High School in 1964. In 1963, Ron married the love of his life, his high school sweetheart and only girlfriend, Patricia White. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and partnership.
Throughout his life, Ron touched the hearts of many as a beloved pastor and made a mark in the automotive industry. His dedication to his work and his faith was unwavering, leaving a lasting impact on those he encountered.
Family meant everything to Ron, and he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. He found joy in simple pleasures like gardening and barbecuing, activities that brought him closer to nature and his family. He also found great joy playing with his fur babies; Bay, Bibi, and Mia.
One of Ron's greatest passions was traveling, especially going on cruises with his beloved Patricia. Together, they explored the world and created cherished memories that will forever be treasured.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elmo White; his mother, Nita Johnson; two sons, Brad and James White.
Ron is survived by his wife, Patricia White; his daughter, Mechelle Salmon and her husband Drew; his son, Ronnie White and his wife Sandra; his grandchildren, Zachary Tinney and wife Kaitlyn, Breana Vale and husband Ross, Alison McCully and husband Richard, Roy Salmon, Joshua Salmon, Corey White, Kelsie White, Bailey White; Great grandchildren, Eli Tinney, Kyleigh Litzner, Savanna Litzner, Rowan Vale, Genesis McCully, Madison McCully; brother, Randy White and wife Jackie; sister, Vickie White and wife Michelle; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Ron leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and kindness. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
