Rose Gutkowski

Rose C. Gutkowski, 99, went to the Lord on December 5, 2013 in Abilene, TX. She was born in Posen, MI on July 23, 1914. She lived most of her life in Alpena, MI, with the last four years in Abilene, TX with her son. Rose was one of twelve children, all deceased. She was married to Bernard T. Gutkowski for sixtythree years and he preceded her in death in 2000. Her hobbies were crocheting, making afghans, doilies, etc., as well as playing cards also, walking was a must for exercise.

Rose leaves behind two daughters, Lois Kuster of Michigan, and Karen Stepanski of Florida two sons, Gene Gutkowski of Florida, and Charles Gutkowski, of Texas as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

To honor Roses wishes and cremation was held and a service is planned in the spring in Michigan. Arrangements are with Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South.
