Roy Pringle

Roy Dan Pringle, 58, died Tuesday December 23, 2008 in Abilene. His Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Hwy 277 South. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday December 26, 2008 at Elmwood Funeral Home.

Dan was born April 29, 1950 in Abilene, Tx to William Roy and Eula Gladeen Pringle. He later served his country honorably in the United States Navy where he was stationed in Puerto Rico. He worked for the city of Abilene parks department for twenty five years and enjoyed attending church at First Baptist Church of Hawley. Playing the guitar was one of his most enjoyable ways to spend time but rooting for the Dallas Cowboys was a definite love of his life.

He is survived by two children, Kiersty Pringle and Brian Pringle both of Abilene; four grandchildren, Maurgan Suezanne Henry, Kierstyn DanNell Pringle, Auston David Pringle, Briton Jaly Pringle all of Abilene; two brothers, Jerry Pringle of Reno, NV, and Carroll Pringle of Cross Plains, TX; three sisters, Betty Lane of Fort Worth, TX, Juanelle Johnson of Molina, CA, and LaZeda Jordan of Abilene; two great friends, Suzy Heath Pringle and Johnny Clinton; Several Nieces, Nephews, and friends.

In Lieu of flowers the family would like to suggest memorials be sent to Hendrick Hospice Care at 1682 Hickory St. Abilene, TX 79601
