Russell Presley

Russell Wayne Presley, 54, passed away Friday, June 3, 2016. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park.

Russell was born July 15, 1961 in Rayville, Louisiana Wayne Presley and Barbara Mae Ann Graves. He spent many years driving across county as a truck driver. He was a dedicated individual who loved his family and who was passionate about the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, camping, working on vehicles, spending time with his kids and grandchildren, and relaxing while drinking cold beer. Russell was an avid music lover.

Russell was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Presley.

He is survived by his mother Barbara Mae Ann Stone of May; one son, Jeremy Wayne Presley and wife Shanna of Clyde; one daughter, Brandi Gail DeRemer and husband Joshua of Abilene, TX; two sisters, Patricia Faye Bingaman and husband Devon of May, Lori Lynn Franklin and husband Neil of Early; two brothers, Coty Gholson and wife Becky of Sweetwater, and Joe McEright of Clyde; four grandchildren, Hailee Ann Presley, Cody Wayne Presley, Tyler Wayne Presley, and Lacey Jo Presley of Clyde; several nieces and nephews and a large extended group of family and friends
