Sam Thomas

Sam Thomas, 59, of Abilene passed away Wednesday September 30, 2015 in Abilene.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 Am on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Wyndrock Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Cottonwood Cemetery Cottonwood, TX in Callahan County.

Sam was born on July 14, 1956 in Baird, TX to Claude and Fannie Wyatt Thomas. He was a high school graduate. Sam was a special guy and was dearly loved by his family and friends. He was a member of Windrock Baptist Church.

Sam is survived by his mother, Fannie Thomas; sisters, Verna Calhoun of Abilene, Belva Cleveland and husband Jerry of Desoto, Glenda Washburn and husband Lewis of Hawley; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Sam was preceded in death by his father, Claude Thomas Sr. and brother Claude Thomas Jr.
