Sandra Roberts

Sandra Garner Roberts, 66, went to her heavenly home January 18th, 2011 surrounded by her family. Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, January 21st in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 HWY 277 South with her brotherinlaw, Pastor Doyle Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation is from 6:30 to 8:00 PM on Thursday at Elmwood Funeral Home.

Sandra was born to Lester V. Les and Dorothy Roddam Garner on February 5, 1944 in Los Angeles, California. She grew up in Abilene where she married Dillard Roberts on August 11, 1961. They had a wonderful marriage for over 49 years.
While being the best wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and homemaker, Sandra also studied Theology through Liberty University. She was instrumental in leading many of her family members, friends and childrens friends to Jesus Christ. Her Christian influence will be truly missed.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband, Dillard Roberts one daughter, Kristi Roberts two sons and daughtersinlaw, Les and Paula Roberts and Josh and Sara Fiscus Roberts eight grandchildren, Corey Roberts, Justin Roberts, Stephanie Roberts, Stevie DeLeon, Taylor Roberts, Brayden Roberts, Payton Roberts and Bryan Fulkersin one sister and brotherinlaw, Andrea and Al Mulheron one brother, Michael Garner several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Sandra leaves us with a message she wants everyone to hear If you smoke..QUIT If you dont smoke, please dont start.
Donations in Sandras name may be made to any Christian organization of the donors choice.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are grandsons, Corey Roberts, Justin Roberts, Stevie DeLeon and Bryan Fulkersin, brothersinlaw, D.C. Roberts, Al Mulheron, Gary Roberts and friend, Jim Smith.
