Scott Nettleton

Scott Christopher Nettleton, 39, of Abilene, TX passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015. A memorial service will be held at the Abilene Indoor Gun Range, 1309 Ben Richey Drive, on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM
Scotty was a traveler and was never in one place too long. After bidding his home of Chico, CA farewell, he lived in Eureka, CA, Redding, CA, Laramie WY, and Flagstaff, AZ. After coming to Abilene, marrying and "settling down", he moved his family to Carson City, NV, but always seemed to find his way back home to Abilene.
Scott was a talented gunsmith and made many friends through his work that were so important to him. He was also a movie buff and could quote just about any movie by title alone. He would probably hope to be remembered for his kind heart, generosity, and jokester personality.
Scott was reunited with his fraternal grandmother, Irene Nettleton; his maternal grandmother, Violet Kirby; as well as aunts and an uncle that he missed very much.
He is survived by his mother and father, Kathleen and Steve Nettleton, of Chico, CA; his daughter and son, Alexandra and Steven Nettleton of Abilene; as well as a vast number of family and friends that will miss him until we meet again.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choosing in his name have been requested by his family.
