Scotty White went to be with the Lord on December 05, 2021 after a short illness. He was born on July 27, 1952 in Abilene, Texas to A. White and Joyce Milliorn White. He lived with his grandmother, Willie Mae Milliorn. His great aunts, twins Bessie and Dessie Klepper who never married, were a big part of his life. They fixed many meals for Scotty when he was going to school at Cooper High School. His ancestors came to Texas in the 1800’s and were early residents of Clyde, Texas and then moved to Abilene. They included Milliorn, Klepper, and Estes.
Scotty was interested in the Bible, history—especially Texas History, music, living in the country, as well as being an animal lover to dogs and his horses. He had just written a book about Texas History. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Willingham who he met in 1969, while in a play with her at ACT’s Children’s Theatre. He managed a large theater in Arlington, Texas, then later moved to Abilene and worked for the City of Abilene for years. He had many lifelong friends and relatives.
