Sean Alston

Sean Robert Alston, 39, passed away June 6, 2021. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 16, 2021 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene, Texas.
Sean was born February 11, 1982 in St.Paul Minnesota to Johna Alston. He graduated from Washington High School in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 2000. In October of 2002 Sean entered the United States Air Force. He had a love for animals and music. Above all he loved his family especially his son and was a wonderful father. He will forever be in our hearts and always missed.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Alston; and his stepfather, Barry Mercer.
Sean is survived by his mother, Johna Mercer of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; his son, Robert Thomas Alston; his sisters, Destinee O'Brien (Mark) of Albion, Nebraska, and Desiree Mercer (Bramm Pickner) of San Antonio, Texas; one niece, Charlotte O'Brien; his grandmother, Donna Alston of Cottage Grove, Minnesota; two aunts, Peggy Alston of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, and Anne Alston of Cottage Grove, Minnesota.
