SHANNON HOOKER, gifted and beloved daughter of the late Jack Hooker died peacefully - surrounded by friends and her loving uncle on Sunday, August 24, 2008. She was 41.BRBRWe thank GOD for Giving Us Such A Wonderfully Refreshing and Precious Spirit.BRBRWith SHANNON, things were of the HEART - her love of life - joy - laughter and her care for the needs of others was Always Uplifting. As a child - she and her father, Jack, prayed together nightly and he would say Shani you are so Good and Smart - GOD Loves you and you can do anything.BRBRGod loved her and chose her as one of His best to take Home early. We will never forget Precious SHANNON and how SHE LIFTED US UP.BRBRSHANNON graduated from Cooper High School in 1985. She moved to Monterey, California to study at Naval Language School graduating from Cal State, Long Beach with a degree in English in 1994. She made her home in Costa Mesa, California, where she wrote Technical Manuals for various automotive companies.BRBRSHANNON was preceded in death by her father, Jack Hooker, mother, Bobby Jane Brown, grandparents, Alva Ruth and Fay Hooker and Edith and Leslie Brown. She is also survived by her uncle, Jim Hooker, brother and sister, Andrew and Jill Hooker, aunts, Jane Hooker and Fay Jean Lippincott as well as by Lucille Odoms and many other dear and loving friends in Los Angeles, Abilene, and Albany.BR
