Sheila Jane Pearce, 49, of Abilene, died on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at a local hospital.
Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, May 8, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. Funeral service will be 9:30 a.m. on Friday, May 9 at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel; interment will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park-Mausoleum Garden.
Sheila was born on May 5, 1959 to Bill Russell and Shirley Cooper in Abilene. She attended Jim Ned High School in Tuscola. Sheila will be remembered by her family and friends for her love of reading, her kindness towards everyone, and the love she had for her sons. She was an active member of Hope Church of Christ.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Pearce and wife, Samantha, and Russell Bucky Pearce; mother, Shirley Cooper; three brothers, Danny Cooper, Ricky Cooper and wife, Tammy, and Randy Cooper; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her dad, Bill Cooper.
Serving as pallbearers will be Charlie Heath, Jade Lamb, Johnny Lamb, Jack Underwood, Michael Denson and Dan Tucker.
