Sonny Rosales

Sonny Rosales, 47, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021 in Abilene, Texas. A visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 Hwy 277 South. A funeral service will be 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel.

Sonny was born May 7, 1974 in Abilene, Texas to Isidro and Barbara Rosales. Sonny worked in construction and took pride in his work. He was funny with a spirit that didn’t care what people thought. He loved cooking, dancing, music, beer, and playing billiards. Sonny was a loyal friend and if he loved you then he loved you hard. Above all he loved his children and grandchildren, they came first in his life. Sonny was a wonderful son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. The laughter and love he brought our lives will be missed forever.

He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; and his sister, Sona’ Trucks.

He is survived by his parents, Isidro and Barbara Rosales; his children, Krista Ortiz Hernandez and her husband Osvaldo, Nickolas Rosales and his wife Desta, Zackariah Rosales, Pricilla Rosales, and Mayllanna Rosales; two grandchildren, Osvaldo Hernandez Jr., and Christian Hernandez; two siblings, Danielle Rosales and her spouse Charles Horton, and Jimmy Rosales; nine nieces and nephews that loved him dearly; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
