Stephen Miller

Stephen Thomas Miller, 56, of Abilene passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019 at his residence.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 1 PM at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 US HWY 277 S., Abilene, TX. A funeral service will follow at 2 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will follow at a later date at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene.

Stephen was born on May 17, 1963 in Laporte, Indiana to Buell Miller and Loretta May Hostetler Miller. He served honorably in the Navy from 1983 to 1991. Stephen was an avid sports fan and collector. He enjoyed all sports, but the New York Yankees was his favorite team. What really touched his heart was seeing his grandchildren and receiving pictures of them. He will be greatly missed.

Stephen is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Weidner (Taylor); 3 grandchildren, Kairi Miller, Ronan Weidner, Jaxtyn Weidner; siblings, John Warren Miller, Loretta Kay Miller, Michael Anthony Miller; mother, Loretta May Miller.

Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Buell Miller.
