Steven Deleon

Stevie DeLeon went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday December 18th, 2011 at the age of 26 from an aneurysm. He was surrounded by those he loved. He was born on March 11, 1985 to Kristi Kaye Roberts and Steven DeLeon. Stevie was a blessing to his family and everyone close to him. His charming personality, contagious smile and extreme loyalty were an inspiration that always brought a smile and sense of comfort to everyone around him. To say he will be missed is such an understatement, but his memory and love will live in our hearts forever.
Stevie had many dreams and goals in life and at 26 he had already achieved many of his dreams. He was a go getter and always put his goals high giving Christ the glory. Stevie attended Abilene High School and graduated from Continental Academy in 2003 and was planning to attend college in the spring. He loved sports and excelled in football and basketball.
Proceeding Stevie in death was his granny, Sandra Roberts. The relationship they shared was very special, a bond everlasting. His relationship with his mother, Kristi was also amazing. They were best friends who counted on each other at all cost, any means necessary. Surviving Stevie is his mother, Kristi Roberts his father, Steven DeLeon and wife Mechelle three halfsisters, Hailey Wedeking, Hannah and Mecaela DeLeon stepbrother, Eric Ramirez nephew, Brayden Roberts niece, Payton Roberts and his grandpa, Dillard Roberts grandparents, John and Marcella DeLeon.
We love you so much Stevie and miss you beyond words. We will see you at the pearly gates, until then, you will forever live on in our hearts and always be in our thoughts. Thanks you for all your love and wonderful memories.
Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. Funeral will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 22, 2011 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service in Elmwood Memorial Parks Garden of Remembrance.
Pallbearers for the service will be Narada Norman, Bobby Ivester, Brandon Tindle, George Sanchez, Johnny Sanchez, and Jesse Sanchez, Eric Ramirez, Chris Kinsey and John Hernandez.
