On Monday, April 26, 2021, many lives changed forever when Steve was suddenly taken from this life.
Steven David Keesee was born on February 27, 1976, in Abilene, Texas.
He was full of life with a love for dogs, comedy, projects around the house, and time spent with his family. Steve lived for his son Garett, and loved to spend time with him. Steve had a special bond with his dog Molly, a happy and loyal chocolate lab who has been impatiently waiting for him. On October 8, 2017, he was joined in marriage to the love of his life, Alyssa. He was a wonderful Husband, Father, Son, Brother and Friend. He leaves behind many broken hearts, and will be remembered for his laugh, and his ability to make others laugh.
Steve is survived by his wife, Alyssa and son, Garett of Green Bank, WA; mother, Susan Fielder of San Angelo, TX; sister, Heather (Brian) McDougal of San Angelo TX; nephew, Brandon (Kamri) Spaulding of Ft. Hood, TX; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and too many friends to count.
He is preceded in death by his father, David; grandparents, Sidney and Lucy Roberts (Nanny and Papa), who he dearly loved and spoke of often; grandparents, Alvin and Virginia Keesee, and a special cousin, Wayland Fraser.
Celebration of Steve’s life will be at Elmwood Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Abilene at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 7, 2021. Pallbearers will be Cody Young, Brian McDougal, Jason Halverson, Mike Roberts, Ernie Delacruz and Justin Herring.
Our comfort lies in our knowledge that we will be reunited with Steve through our Saviour.
