Synuwae Bryant

Synuwae Lester Bryant, 53, passed away February 24, 2018 in Abilene, TX. His funeral service will be held at Macedonia Baptist Church, 608 N 7th St. on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM.

He was born August 14, 1964 to parents, Ruth M. and Ernest T. Bryant and grew up in Inglewood, CA. During Elementary and Middle school, he was part of the Inglewood PACE Program and attended classes at Cal State. Throughout high school he continued in the PACE Program and graduated from the Center for Enriched Studies in 1982. After high school he attended LACC for two years before joining the United States Air Force and serving honorably for eight years until 1992. He graduated from Hardin Simmons University with a degree in Criminal Justice in 1997 and began a twelve-year career with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. He also worked in the Hospitality Industry for twelve years. He was an avid photographer and loved spending time with his family.

Synuwae is survived by his mother, Ruth M. Bryant of Inglewood, CA; his sister, Rita Branch of CA; and one son, Chevante' Bell-Bryant of Abilene, TX.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest T. Bryant in 1980.
