Terry Gene "Yaya" Calder, 75, of Abilene passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 in Abilene.

A funeral service will be held Friday, March 5, 2021 at 2 PM at the Broadview Baptist Church, 2500 S. 27th, Abilene, Tx, 79605. Interment will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2 pm prior to the service at the church.

Terry was born on August 3, 1945 in Colorado City, Texas to the late Harry Gene Cranfill and Palmer Joy Busbee. She married Hardy Calder on January 18, 1965 in New Mexico and were blessed with 16 years together until his passing on September 6, 1981. She worked 25 years for the Abilene Independent School District in the Food Service Department. Terry was a member of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church for many years and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Terry is survived by her son Stacey Calder, daughter Tammy Calder, and "adopted" daughter Christina Reid; grandchildren, Jordan Daberko and David Lindsey; siblings, Sharon Eller and husband George, Randy Cranfill and wife Gaye, Ricky Cranfill, Drew "Buz" Busbee and wife Barbara and Jerry Busbee as well as numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends.
