Theodore Dizien

Theodore Jean Dizien, 92 of Abilene went to his heavenly home surrounded by his family Sunday, April 23, 2017. Visitation will be 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. His funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rodney Watson. Interment will follow the service in Elmwood Memorial Park.

He was always helpful to others. His favorite saying was "make my day" by being kind hearted. Hobbies included collecting coins, stamps, tennis, jogging and studying about history.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Dizien; parents, Lucien and Marie Dizien; his brother, Jean Dizien.

He is survived by his son, Daniel Dizien and his wife Shirley of Abilene, Texas; His grandchildren, Crystal Hacker of Abilene, Texas, Brandon Dizien and his wife Laura of Dallas, Texas, Justin Dickinson and wife Mary Louise of Omaha, Nebraska; and great grandson, Jayden.
