Timothy Pleimann

Timothy Pleimann, 54, beloved son, husband, father and friend, died Thursday, November 11, 2010 in Abilene. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 3:00 PM with a Prayer Service beginning at 3:00 PM on Sunday in the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel, 5750 HWY 277 South. Funeral Mass and burial will be held at a later date in Michigan where Tim grew up.

Tim was born in Warren, Michigan on April 18, 1956 the son of William D. Pleimann and Frances Kengerski Pleimann. He proudly served in the U. S. Air Force for 29 years retiring in 2003. After retirement, he continued to work on base aiding fellow servicemen and women with tax preparation. Tim had a strong faith in God he was a Catholic and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Tim loved his family deeply and always put the care and needs of others above his own. He was a gifted story teller and enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting and playing golf.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Christina of Abilene his parents of Cadillac, Michigan his children, Christina M. Pleimann, Zandro Pleimann and Christopher Pleimann 6 sisters and 3 brothers.
