Tina Moreno

Tina Renee Moreno, 24, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2009 in Abilene. Her funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 16th at the St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church, 2525 Westview with burial following in Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 15th at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South.

Tina was born on February 20, 1985 in Stamford the daughter of Miguel Moreno and Irma Ramirez. She graduated from Anson High School in 2003 and enlisted in the U.S. Marines right out of high school. The past few years she had been a full time mother dedicated to the care of her two children. Tina loved to sing and was an awesome dancer. She was full of life, loved everyone, and made friends wherever she went. She had a heart the of Texas and always stood up for the underdog.

Survivors include her daughters, XiAmari Honey Moreno and Natalie Moss; her mother, Irma Ramirez of Abilene; her father, Miguel Moreno of Stamford; her grandmother, Andrea Ramirez of Menard; three brothers, Michael Luis Moreno, Anthony Moreno and Jacob Moreno; two sisters, Alecia Moreno and Crystal Cerda; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her grandparents, Luis Ramirez, Marta Moreno and Merced Moreno preceded her in death.
