Tommy Hass

Tommy Wayne Hass, 79, beloved husband, was called to his eternal resting place on April 23, 2022. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 S, Abilene, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Elmwood Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park.

Tommy entered this world on June 29, 1942, in Merkel, Texas, born to Gordon and Nollie Hass. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He married Rose Petrich on April 23, 1988. He worked as a mechanic for over 50 years. He enjoyed wood crafting making pens and knifes. He loved being Papa Tommy. He was a Master Mason and Shriner at the Johnson Sayles Lodge, Abilene, Texas. "Tombo" enjoyed "clowning around" and entertaining children and adults.

He was preceded by his parents; his grandson, Cactus Daniels; and his sister Janice.
He is survived by his wife Rose Hass; stepdaughters Paula Parker and husband Marty, Vickie Daniels and husband Jerry; stepson, Scott Langlitz; 2 daughters, Micky and Alisa; son, Darren Ramm and wife Michelle; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Dickie Hass and wife Jan; sister Elaine Willingham and husband Vernon; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other family members.
