Tony Temple

Tony Ray Temple, 62, of Clyde passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in Abilene.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 10 AM at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. A visitation will be held Friday, February 1, from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.

Tony was born on March 27, 1956 in Winters, Texas to the Richard Temple and the late Rebecca Lidell-Young. He served his country in the US Air Force. Tony married Rita Gail Leachman on May 15, 1982 and were blessed with 36 years of marriage. He was very talented and could work and repair almost anything. His passion was his family and he enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle and working on his cars. Tony was a member of the West Texas Chapter of the "Hogs" (Harley Owners Group). He and Rita enjoyed traveling, especially on their Harley's. Tony will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Rita Gail Temple; daughters, Jennifer Temple and Susanne Temple and her fiance Gerald Decker; grandchildren, Wyatt Ray Tubb, James William Clutter; sister, Dixie Mendez; brother, Roger Young; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Tony was also preceded in death by a niece, Kandis Villalovas.
