Trixie Casady

Trixie M. Casady, 79, died on Tuesday, May 06, 2008 at a local hospital.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2008 in Elmwood Memorial Park Cemetery-Garden of Good Shepherd, 5750 Hwy. 277 South, with Rev. Louis Merritt officiating.

Trixie was born on March 11, 1929 in Stamford, TX to Weldon Wayne and Flora Gaye Young. She married Paul C. Casady on October 29, 1959 in Abilene. She graduated from Commercial College and was employed as a city clerk in Abilene; she worked 25 years for U.S. Brass Co. retiring in 1999. She was a member of the Elmwood Baptist Church.

Trixie is survived by a daughter, Diana Casady of Abilene, two sons, Tommy Casady of Abilene, and Johnnie and his wife, Lee Casady of Raeford, NC; nephew, Robert Young of Wichita Falls; granddaughter, Jennifer Casady; two grandsons, Johnnie Casady, Jr. and Jeremey Paul Casady.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul C. Casady; three brothers, Weldon J., Raymond E. and Charles C. Young; and sister, Loretta I. Sharp.
