Troy Francis

Troy Faye Francis 75, of Abilene, Texas was called home by her Heavenly Father Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Hendrick Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 1:00 pm at New Light Baptist Church, 518 North 6th, Street, Abilene, Texas, Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 Hwy 277 South, burial to follow at the City Cemetery.

Faye was born November 28, 1938 in Hubbard, Texas to Frank Jefferson and Frances Brackens. In 1959 she married Curtis Francis and to this union four children were born.
Faye retired in 1998 after 20 years with the Abilene State School as an LVN. She continue to work and care for the elderly at several nursing homes in Abilene. She enjoyed going to the movies and out to eat with her family and friends. She loved to play bingo, dominoes, listen to music, dancing and loved her grandchildren. She was a member of New Light Baptist Church.

Preceded in death, her husband Curtis Francis, daughter Cheryl Francis, father Frank Jefferson, brother William Jefferson and grandchild Korey Courtney.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Curtis Blake Francis, Jacquelin Hitchcock and Jeri Loney all of Abilene. Her mother, Frances Allen, former daughter inlaw Kim Glenn. five siblings, Arlene Sanders, Frankie Ware husband Tilman, Sharon Flannagan, Harold Jefferson and Cynthia Green husband William. 9 grandchildren, Keon Francis wife LaToshia, Kevin Courtney, Christopher Francis, Cedrick Loney, Kanesha Francis, Kira Whiteley husband Justin, Nicole Loney, Bryan Francis and Brennan Francis. 10 Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
