Violet Turner

Violet Ruth Turner, 85, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013 in Abilene. Her wishes were to be cremated and a private family service will be held at a later date.

Violet was born on February 18, 1928 in Cisco the daughter of Marion Irvin Yeager and Mittie Fay Harris Yeager. She married Clarence Sidney Turner Jr. on her birthday in 1947 and they lived in Waco for several years before coming to Abilene. Violet was a homemaker and enjoyed shopping and dancing.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Camey Leigh Von Bergen, Misty Dawn Jones and husband Derrell, and Colton Ryan Turner and wife Victoria great grandchildren, Candice Leigh McArthur, Jayton Lee Jones, Sidney Ryan Turner and Carson Douglas Turner her daughterinlaw, Kathy Lynn Turner and a brother, Ronnie Yeager and wife Margaret.

Her husband and two sons, Clarence Sidney Turner III, and Donald Lynn Turner preceded her in death.
