Mom was a phenomenal nail artist, she would hand paint whatever her customers wanted, from SpongeBob for the kids to leopard print for Moms, Santa Clause for Christmas, Flags for the 4th of July.
Mom was an exceptional cook, a trait she inherited from our Memo. Mom loved to spoil us; she would make porkchops 5 different ways to make us all happy. Mom always made our friends feel welcome and at home. The last several Christmas and Thanksgiving holidays, mom had to make twice as much dressing for the kids to take home because we all fought over it!
Mom or Jinger with a J as she would say, will be remembered for her big, beautiful smile, her contagious laugh, the way she would brighten up the room when she walked in, her kindness, warmth and compassion, but most of all for the love she gave each one of us. Mom guided us with her gentleness and loving heart, she taught us so many lifelong lessons we will always cherish. The most important one we will always carry in our hearts, “Never judge anyone and always love unconditionally”.
A service to honor her memory will be held Saturday, January 2, 2021, 11:00 am at Elmwood Funeral Home, Hwy 277, Abilene, Texas. Everyone is welcome to attend the service, due to covid-19 safety is our primary concern to keep all of our loved ones safe and healthy as this is how Jinger lost her battle, the service will be recorded and posted on her obituary page after the service at www.elmwoodfuneral.com.
