William Killough

William Barnett Cotton Killough, 78, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010 in Abilene. Viewing and visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 19th at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South. His funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January, 20th at the Salvation Army Chapel, 1726 Butternut with burial following in the Texas State Veterans Cemetery of Abilene.

William was born on June 27, 1931 in Hawley, TX to Allen and Mabel Killough. He married Masaki Mickey Ice on February 27, 1965 in San Angelo and they enjoyed 44 years of marriage until her passing in June of 2009. He has been a resident of Abilene since 1971. He was an active member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart Auxiliary, and the DAV Auxiliary. He enjoyed attending church at the Salvation Army where he was a active supporter of the annual Christmas drive.

William is survived by his Children, E.C. Ice and his wife LeNa of The Woodlands, Alice Monestero and husband Tony of Abilene 5 grandchildren, Lyndsay, Alaina, Jaena, Jamie and Anthony 1 great grandchild, Deja and 1 nephew, Ricky Emry.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to the Salvation Army, PO Box 6929, Abilene, Texas 79606
