William Peterson

Bill "W.T." Peterson Jr., 81, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2018 in Abilene.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 11 AM at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel.

Bill was born on September 22, 1936 to the late W.T. Peterson Sr. and Sylvia L. Peterson in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He joined the Air Force at the age of 19. Bill was a veteran of the Korean war and was honorably discharged from Dyess Air Force base in Abilene, TX. He lived the rest of his life in Abilene and owned and operated Economy T.V. shop. Bill had his private pilot's license and owned many Airplanes and enjoyed travelling. He was a member of the confederate air force and was active as a HAM radio operator. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Bill is survived by his children, Patricia K. Peterson-Fields, Robert W. Peterson, Deborah M. Peterson Hoyle and husband Wes and Terry W. "Ying Ying" Peterson; sister, Judy Swayne; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren
