Willie Green

Willie Alice Green, 81, beloved mother, was called to her eternal home on February 13, 2022. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the Hawley Cemetery in Hawley, Texas. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 US HWY 277 S., Abilene, TX 79606.

Willie was born on June 29, 1940, in Lovington, NM, to Monroe and Winnie Brewer. She was gifted with her hands and enjoyed painting, sewing, crocheting, and upholstery. She enjoyed being outdoors camping and riding her adult tricycle. Willie Alice liked sports and was a baseball and football fan. She was also a good cook and loved spending time with her family.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; husband, William Green; son, Randal Dan Beason; daughter, Elizabeth Beason; brother, Melvin Brewer; and 2 sisters, Nedra Maxwell and Fern Ballard.

Willie is survived by her sons, Riley Beason and Terrill Lyn Beason; daughters, Clarissa Beason and Vanita Alice Beason-Collingsworth; brothers, Noel Brewer and Neil Brewer, 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
