Willie Bell Maul-Gunn

Willie Bell Maul Gunn was born September 7, 1940 to the late Willie Maul and Hattie Mae Sanders-Maul. To this union 9 were born; 3 brothers preceded her in death; Reuben, Jesse and Johnny Maul. Willie attended Tyler Union High School in Selma, Alabama. Willie operated a private day care in her home until she retired. She married the late David Stephenson, Sr. To this union four children were born; Sherrie, Gary, David, and Felicia Stephenson. Later she married Lee Andrew Gunn. To this union one child was born; Lawanda Gunn.

She leaves to cherish her memories 5 brothers and sisters; Hattie Mae Fuller, Dotnell (Thomas) Underwood of Warner Robins, Georgia; Charles (Amy) Maul, Lee Marvin (Matty) Maul, and Napoleon Maul, all of Selma, Alabama; 5 loving children; Gary Stephenson of Birmingham, Alabama; Sherrie (Alfonzo) McGee of Trenton, New Jersey; David Stephenson, Jr. of Austin, Texas; Felicia (Darryl) Kelley of Abilene, Texas; Lawanda Powell of Atlanta, Georgia, 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 21 nieces and nephews, 19 great nieces and nephews; one great aunt, Miss Gladys Maul of Buffalo, New York; a special friend, Hannah (Jean) Wimberly of Atlanta, Georgia; a dedicated niece, Kimberly Maul of Margate, Florida, and a host of cousins and friends.
