Wynelle Loving left this world surrounded by love in the comfort of her own home on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 in Abilene, Texas. The family will hold a graveside service at 9:00 AM, Saturday September 7, 2019 at Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 Hwy 277 South Abilene, Texas.
Wynelle was born May 17, 1926 in Gurdon, Arkansas to Hesley and Ophelia Gogle. As a child, she experienced the Great Depression moving often with her family since her dad followed work on an oil pipeline.
After graduating from Longview High School in 1943, Wynelle married the love of her life Dee T. Loving Jr on April 25, 1947. They raised 5 five daughters over the span of their 51 years together before Dee passed on in 1998.
Wynelle worked several different jobs during her early life including soda jerk, phone operator and seamstress but discovered her real joy was as a homemaker taking care of her husband and growing family.
Her hobbies and loves included using her green thumb to tend her garden and houseplants, she even took up painting for a while and won several ribbons. Her love by far was spending time with her family camping along the Caddo River in Arkansas. Wynelle was a great listener with a big heart, these attributes were key in her becoming the family confidant and peacemaker whenever it was warranted.
She and her husband were active members of an amateur CB radio club and a bowling league in her early years. During her SENIOR years, she even branched out into motorcycling and 4 wheeling.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dee T. Loving Jr.; her daughter, Sherry Balfanz; her parents, Hesley and Ophelia Gogle; two brothers, Kenneth Gogle, and Wayne Gogle; and one sister, Karen Cordry.
Wynelle is survived by her four remaining daughters, Kathy Dowse and husband Bob, Linda Burkehalter and husband Charles, Julie Durant and husband Theron, Toni Loving and husband Jerold; grandchildren, Debra, Marc, Michael, Robert, Rewa, Crystal, Brandi, Londa, Sheri, Travis, Traci, Tiffany, Dylan, Jeremy Keira, and LaMarlais; and many great grandchildren; two sisters, Skeeter Copeland, and Jonye Mahdak.
