Yoshiko Florez

Yoshiko Morinaga Florez, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, peacefully passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 84 in Abilene, Texas.

A visitation to honor Yoshiko's life will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel located at 5750 Hwy 277 South.

Yoshiko was born on March 30, 1939, in Japan, to her loving parents, Mr. and Mrs. Morinaga. She embodied simplicity in all aspects of her life. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.

She dedicated herself to being a devoted wife, nurturing mother, and cherished grandmother. Her unconditional love and selflessness were evident in every action she took, every word she spoke, and every embrace she shared.

Yoshiko is preceded in death by her parents; her In-laws; and one grandson.

She is survived by husband, Gregorio Florez; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Yoshiko's presence brought comfort and joy to those around her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Though she may no longer be with us, the legacy of her love and the imprint of her gentle spirit will endure.
